Happy Easter to you too!I hope you had a wonderful day, I am sure you had yummy food!
I made the brownie/cookie combo for work, and they loved them! Almost the whole pan gone. I feel a bit ill after eating all day...Thanks for the recipe. I will make them for my family this year.
Shawn: Thank you! Hope your Easter was wonderful! We had so many family members who were going to be away this year, for the first time in well over a decade, I didn't have Easter brunch. So, Hubby and I actually went out for dinner last night. It was opening weekend for one of our favorite restaurants and the meal was outstanding! As much as I love doing brunch, I have to admit that it was really nice not having all of the work that goes into it.Sue: I'm feeling a bit overloaded today too. I'm so glad they went over well! I don't think I've ever come home with more than a piece or two left either. People just seem to love them. I can't really take the credit since it's just 2 box mixes thrown together, but I guess the old saying is true, necessity really IS the mother of invention!
I love Fred Astaire. You may need to post the scene from Royal Wedding considering what is going on very soon.
George: How very true, my dear. With all the press you'd think it was impossible, but I'd almost forgotten that "THE wedding" was so close. I also love all things Fred. There have been many others who've tried, but never quite equalled his artistic genius. The man was class, personified.
I love comments! I read every one and they truly make my day! I no longer allow anonymous comments due to increases in spam, etc. Since there are issues with G+ and Blogger Profiles mysteriously flipping back and forth, I know it can be impossible to control showing up as a no-reply blogger, but IF YOU SUBSCRIBE to the COMMENTS on this post (below) you'll get a notice about my reply via email! Thanks for stopping by and for absolutely making my day! XOXO
